Samsung Wave 723

Samsung has just come to officially announce a new phone with touch screen that will be the fourth device with its own operating system Bada (after Samsung Wave, Samsung Wave 2 and Samsung Wave 2 Pro), which is designed for smartphones Midrange trying, like Nokia, to “democratize the smartphone market.”

Samsung Wave 723, which has a 3.2-inch touchscreen WQVGA TFT LCD (240 × 400), Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g / n), leather cover, 11.8mm thick with metal back, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, autofocus and QVGA video recording, FM radio, Dolfin Browser 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, aGPS, Bluetooth 3.0 with EDR, 90MB of internal memory and supports microSD memory cards up to 16GB.

Since the company say the Samsung Wave 723 has an “application-centric nature” and has Social Hub (an “ultimate inbox” to integrate social networking, messaging, calendar, contacts and email) and access to App Store Samsung Apps. The device is based on bada SDK 1.1 that has the auto level interface which allows developers to make applications work for Wave 723 Bada with minimal effort.

The Samsung Wave 723 will be available from September in Germany and then will gradually coming to other countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
