Sure many know the company by its ViewSonic LCD or plasma screens but now is news on the launch of ViewPad 7, “the first 7-inch tablet with Android 2.2 Froy and phone functionality. ViewSonic ViewPad 7 has a 7 inch touch screen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution, Android 2.2, 3G, A-GPS, WiFi, phone functionality, document reader, e-book reader, 3 mpx camera, VGA front camera for video calls and support for MicroSD memory cards.
The truth is that at least sounds like an interesting competition for the IPAD (although if I am given a choice I have no doubt today) and would be costing about $ 540 when it’s released in October. The ViewPad 7 will be presented at the IFA Berlin, which kicks off next Friday, September 3 and continues through Wednesday, 8 which also shows the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
In 2009 there was talk of the possible arrival of ViewSonic smartphone market but in the end this movement never materialized and now surprise us with a tablet that works as a phone and it looks pretty nice no?
