Much has been said – and written – about the Windows Phone 7 operating system upgrades. First came a preliminary version to accommodate properly the most important update, also known as No-Do. And then came the problems. Microsoft acknowledged the delays and also admitted that the devices were presentandoo Samsung serious problems in receiving the data packet. Days later, we learned that there is a second update (which incidentally is just around the corner) and is called Mango. Now the Redmond company has published some of the changes that come with this new version. You count them then.
You know that this is the update Windows Phone 7 7.5, also known as Mango, and brings many security-related improvements, plus many others intended to correct bugs or errors that creep from the first version. But this is not the most significant thing we can count. And is that Microsoft just announced Bing Audio tool, available in the first instance for Spain, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany and the United States, operating as it does to recognize the application Shazam music.
Another interesting benefit that comes with this update is Bing Vision, a useful service to recognize bar codes, plus other items tagged with Microsoft Tags. As if this were not enough, Mango also incorporates the ability to download and manage your Podcasts completely autonomously. If the people of Microsoft are encouraged to voice recognition, users of these phones will be guided through the maps with voice clips or write SMS without having to touch the keyboard. Will they get the guys in Redmond to catch up from Cupertino or Mountain View? At the moment it is trying … with giant strides.
